Ways To Get Involved…
Pray
Prayer is an important part of our relationship with God. He speaks to us through the Bible and we speak to Him in prayer. He commands us to pray (Matthew 7). He tells us not to be anxious, but pray (Philippians 4). He bids us to cast our cares on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5). Please call on our Lord for help in reaching the military community. They are an extremely important segment of our society; yet, often overlooked and forgotten because their duties take them all over the world.
Go
Go, relocate to one of the targeted sites for church planting and become a key member of the church planting core group.
· The infrastructure of these bases require people who have a variety of skill sets. They include doctors, nurses, school teachers, information technology experts, and others.
· Men, who are officers in the Presbyterian and Reformed Community, and who are self-supporting are also invited to re-locate and help in this global effort.
· Gifted musicians are also needed. Musicians need to come as either tent-makers or as missionaries with the ability to raise their own support.
Give Consider making this ministry part of your ongoing support to advance the Church of our Lord. Support can be done through an account established by Southeast Alabama Presbytery of the PCA. It has been estimated that somewhere between 4 and 7 million Americans live outside the U.S. Of these, approximately 500,000 American military personnel and family members live overseas at a given time. In addition, there are a corresponding number of Department of Defense employees, and contractors who support the military mission. This church planting effort is targeted especially to the military community. We trust that God will use these church plants to reach other Americans living overseas and English speaking internationals with the Gospel of Christ. This is a huge undertaking! Yet, we are reminded that our Lord’s arm is not short and that He is able to supply. He is a generous God. Would you support this effort generously? This is a “Great Commission” effort. In it, peoples lives will be forever changed and our Lord will be glorified.
